Ironically DH went to such an establishment whilst on a stag do last night  He got chatting to one of the girls who he recognised as being a CO supervisor in our Ts  He said he'll not be able to look at her the same way next time he goes shopping :rotfl:

Was wondering if they had them anyway , you know what its like down there:mad:
My hand is not painful :T:T but i was told to take bandage and dressing off today and just pt a plaster on, the cut looks clean, but nearer my wrist a bit bumpy but only 2 days, but since i have taken off bandage my hand and fingers have swelled up:o

Wow, that's good bubbs. I had to keep my hand in semi plaster cast bandage until the stitches came out after 10 days. My germphobia didn't like not being able to wash my hands properly for that long

This may sound thick where do i sign up ? JL website?

Just google John Lewis Bubbs and you should see it on the first page.

    And .....

Talking of John Lewis this was my experience on Thursday. I queue for my cake and drinking choc and when It was my turn I handed over the ticket then I noticed it was a different colour on the other side :( did n t say anything there and then as I wanted to make sure.

The May s one was grey and the June s one is orange, and I thought that the back would be grey the same. Anyway I found a table and checked my vouchers and sure enough the next one was July.

So I asked someone on a nearby table would they please watch my food and drink in case someone whisked it away, you know what it's like. I go up to the woman concerned and explained and asked could I check through them . She wouldn t let me but she had a quick look and it was a quick look too. She did n t do it properly as was talking as well. I realised it was partly my fault but I still have a numb finger after my trapped nerve so can t feel the thickness of paper .

So I left it at that for now thinking I ll be emailing them later. I know it's free but it's worth over £6 is n t it and I knew it was there as it was n t anywhere else. When I get home I thought its worth a try in case they could do something.

Received an email this morning saying they understand how disappointed I might be by losing out on this little treat for June and hope that it has n t left a bad taste in my mouth and they were going to send me 6 months more :D. I replied and thanked them and said well the cake certainly didn t lol. I need to be more aware next time .

Scamps I had a laptop do that. Mine is a HP and no amount of charging would make it come back on.
Google told me to remove the battery and hold the power button for 30 seconds (something about battery depletion). I think that eventually worked.
But my laptop had hibernated when the battery was critically low so it had got stuck somehow.
Probably doesn't help you though :o

Yes I ve had to do that before now with my toshiba laptop. Take the battery out and leave for a few mins and try again and it worked. Strange

What would you like them to have done with them, took them away and delivered monday!? the courier can't win can he and your email will get him a bolloxing.....that's poor:(

A mate of mine is a delivery driver and they have timed drops 12 an hour so that's 5 minutes to get to the next one deliver it or not and get back in the van. He is not allowed to turn up early (fined £25 believe it or not) so can not even get ahead if he has a few in the same street
Our postie is spot on and the majority of couriers we have they open side gate and hide it somewhere :D
As for flowers leaving in full view probably not a good idea but sure they would not be at their best by Monday if he had taken them back.

Afternoon luvlies, not used photobucket in ages so hoping this works, if this comes out too big or stretches the page please shout loudly as I'll be in the kitchen ;). These are in my local 99p store, not on the shelves with the tea and coffee but near the entrance when you go into store with the cereal and cereal bars. This is the decaf version - haven't got a machine myself but thought this may help someone :)

Flowers WERE left on the doorstep but thanks to honest neighbours weren't stolen. Thank goodness! :j

    She is very happy.

I'm going to write an email to Waities and CityLink though because that's really poor.
was there an option like "leave with neighbour" when ordering?
