Short story, the couple in question know the gender but aren't specifying until it's born and once it has been everyone has been banned from getting them gender specific items, including colours/animals that can be attributed to either sex. I hope that makes sense!
There was a collage lecturer Logies way who didnt tell people the sex of her child for years and I think it got to papers as she didnt want to register the childs sex with the school.
Said child was allowed to have both male and female clothes/toys ect.
Think she wanted to show that how genders are treated defined them.
Well something like that.
My personal choice would be to not know sex of baby until born. I think it is like unwrapping a present after being told what is in it. But then again I had my babies a long time ago.
Sorry been out too. Been drinking finest fizz mixed with 7 up. Very nice it was too.
Strange night, well too strange to explain.

I remember reading about that, I hope they won't take it that far, I know they'll be excellent parents though so whatever works for them, I'm happy for them'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Oh I seeTrying to avoid gender stereotypes is something I've always tried. Didn't make a lot of difference for us. DS2 continues lobbing his doll into the toybox by his head whilst his cars are placed into a perfect traffic jam
I guess it avoids the mountains of pink/blue and ensures you'll be able to use everything with subsequent babies though.
