I'm glad to hear it's worth it.
I really hope mine doesn't get cancelled that many times.
Because you don't find out till 11pm the night before if it's going ahead and have to be there around 6/6.30am, if I'm down to work the nights I have to cancel my shifts.
If I keep doing that then it's gonna work out expensive.
I've rebooked for the 21st so fingers crossed it goes ahead.
Fingers crossed for youWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
Morning one and all.
I'm planning on doing a vs M shop online. Now the bhuna are showing on a.com at 2 for £5. Any idea what deal they are on instore? Or, how they are comparing from your most recent shops?
Zippy may be able to answer this, I think he likes em
Thank you!0 -
Morning everyone, its turning into a mad house here.
I will be back with you later but in the meantime have a look at the link.
Hosts put on a Sunday afternoon tea party once or twice a year for a small group of the elderly who are on their own. They need hosts and also volunteer drivers who collect the guests and give them a lift to the tea parties.

This sounds like loads of fun and it would be ideal if you have children but no older relatives close by.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
This appears to have been way beyond the line - buying items off eBay and elsewhere and returning to different stores at full price, buying fake MOCs off eBay ... jail term 2 and a half years:

And she was a policewoman too (hopefully not one of the Elite or on MSE!).
Worth a read for anyone tempted to go beyond the line ... (or anyone wanting to be reminded where some of the lines exist).

Morning all.
I was hoping that I could have updated you all on which Razors worked at Sains to give you your Nectar points back in cash via PP.
Went out, popped in Asda for the Kenco. ONLY went in for Kenco but ended up with 2 BIG bags of whoopsies for just £3ish, FORGOT the Kenco in my excitement. I'd left hubby in car as wheeling him around for a dozen Kenco would have been a bit silly. He was waiting for over half an hour!:o
Popped into our Sains to get £10 of petrol, hoping for a £3-£4 off as fully intended doing 3 or 4 shops in the bigger one - didn't happen:(. Still I had 1 £4 odd £20 that was going OOD.
Got down to big Sains & went first to look for whoopsies (as you do!) Hit the mother lode but couldn't take full advantage as too little freezer space. Got 2 bags full (Shaw bags - wonderful things for 25p each that hold around 3 carrier bags full).
I needed some kitchen stuff so changed 4,000 nectar into £40 & bought about just over £40 of that. Had intended doing razors & looking at clothes + electricals BUT as I hit the motherlode of whoopsies I had to get a trolley instead of a basket so hubby had to wheel himself. He looked shattered & said "If you were using your hands/shoulders to walk you'd be shattered too!" That's me told, so had to come home. Spent just £5 in real money.:D
All freezers and fridge maxed out & can't be bothered doing another shop today as shoulders hands screaming.
Bubbs glad you got your op done. Hope it works well for you. Please remember NOT to take more than 8x 500gm paracetamol in a day. They are such nasty tabs if you overdue them. I'll never forget being in the QE liver unit and a young girl in twenties dying because she'd taken a total of either 12 or 14 in a day because of severe pain. Countless other people there that had tried taking overdoses (often not meaning to) not realising how dangerous paracetamol is.0 -
