    Afternoon:wave:
Not caught up yet just back from opticians 1/2 hr ago was in there from 1.30 until 3.35:eek::eek: £300 lighter and bad news:( hubby has cataract's in both eyes:( and he has regular eye tests as wears glasses all the time
So all you people that just buy glasses from £1 shop etc, please please go to the optician if even for an eye test and then when you get prescription you can go elsewhere

Cataracts are a common problem now; especially as the population are getting older.

    (No offence intended).

If you go and see your GP with the opticians report; he/she will be able to refer you to an eye surgeon. Should all be sorted within the next 12 weeks.

    :)

If you have a good optician; they may refer you directly to the surgeon and bypassing the GP.

    :)

Bubbs cataract surgery is a very straightforward procedure these days. It's normally done under local anaesthetic and it takes about 15 minutes to do one eye. Some of the lenses they can put in give you better sight than you had before the cataract developed eg you won't need reading glasses after the surgery even if you needed them before.

Thanks, he wears glasses all the time has done most of his life so would be surprised if he didnt have them at all

I found them in Sainsbury but wasn't allowed to use the mocs as my store doesn't take printed. I contacted the company on FB and they are sending money off coupons out to me :)

So some people should only be posted about nicely while the rest of are dumped on. I replied to a post aimed at me about how would I cope with a problem in real life, nice! No one knows what problems I have faced or face now, personally I didn't see what real life problems had to with any of this but there yo go someone trying to score points, as you sy they should know better.
What about the effect on me of their unkind unthoughtful post, oops forgot not one of the chosen few so I don't count.

Thing is Flo as far as I can see you are very much one of the chosen few. People are always saying they miss you and wish you would come back.
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.
