What a mix of a day.

Started off well with a successful shop at T's and managed to get 9 packs of the kindor cereal bars, with long sell by dates on them:)

Then a very sad afternoon. Our dog (a gorgeous staffie cross)has not eaten or drunk since Monday so DH took him to the vet this afternoon. He returned without him as they were running blood tests and trying to get fluids into him.

Just had a phone call to say it's not good news. He has suffered a huge internal bleed from a growth and we have had to make the awful decision of having him put to sleep. The odds of having a big operation at his age were against him and it wouldn't be fair to put him through it.

DH has just gone back to the vets to be with him and say goodbye whilst he is put to sleep. He is then going to bring him home so we can bury him in the garden. Not sure how I'm going to tell our little girls they won't see him again.:(

So sorry to read this. :(

I had to tell my dd2 when she was 3 that our dog had gone to heaven. Not an easy thing to do but by answering her questions as honestly as I could, she seemed to take it in and except it. Children adjust to change and are more able to cope with things than we give them credit for sometimes. She still talks about our dog now and again and says she misses her. Usually when she see's a dog that looks similar.

    Sending you all hugs. :A

I use the white musk perfume oil sometimes and have done since I was at school :o (Yes it was invented then David :p)
It's good because you only need a tiny amount, it's a bit stronger than EDT and it lasts really well, and of course it's lovely for gifts :)
