It might not last long. I did 2 orders and now there's only £0 showing on three of the oils instead of all of them

    :D
£8.84 just like a solicitor inflating the bill :p
Have not ordered, was going to as I thought the oil was one of those that you stick skewers into ;)

What a mix of a day.

Started off well with a successful shop at T's and managed to get 9 packs of the kindor cereal bars, with long sell by dates on them:)

Then a very sad afternoon. Our dog (a gorgeous staffie cross)has not eaten or drunk since Monday so DH took him to the vet this afternoon. He returned without him as they were running blood tests and trying to get fluids into him.

Just had a phone call to say it's not good news. He has suffered a huge internal bleed from a growth and we have had to make the awful decision of having him put to sleep. The odds of having a big operation at his age were against him and it wouldn't be fair to put him through it.

DH has just gone back to the vets to be with him and say goodbye whilst he is put to sleep. He is then going to bring him home so we can bury him in the garden. Not sure how I'm going to tell our little girls they won't see him again.:(

damo biggest of hugs all I can say he wont be in pain anymore. :A RIP doggy :A

Thank you so much for all your kind words. You truly are an amazing group of people on here.

TM we think he was about 16 yrs old. We got him from the dogs trust 12 years ago and they thought he was about 4 years old then. He had been a stray in Manchester for 2 years.

Still haven't told my little girls yet. They don't know daddy has returned from the vets yet and is out in the garden digging a hole. I think we will tell them he has gone to doggy heaven and we will plant some pretty flowers to remember him. Not sure if they need to know we have buried him in the garden.

We buried our last old doggie in the garden. The kids didn't see it, they were too young I thought, but they did know he was there and I think it helped them. They don't mention it much now but they did then. We planted a tree on top of him (so to speak :o)
I guess you'll be the best judge of what to tell them. Just bear in mind, if they're anything like my kids, they will inevitably ask where he's gone!
So sad :( Good luck whatever you decide to tell them.

    Tia :)

    Edit: thanks Zippy :)
I would get in Tosco as its that price on sel (a program error I think, as its £1.30 each or 3 for £1.20) I chanced asder because my Tesco hav a very short date on them.

Thanks Claire. They keep asking where he is, so I'm just about to tell them.I think they will understand, they know that my mums dog is buried in her garden. I think it's nice to have something in the garden so that they can remember him.
