Reading this reminded me of when my dh was made redundant & making ends meet was really difficult. He decided to go to the market as he thought it'd be cheaper. He was absolutely delighted to tell me how little he'd paid for a chicken. Trouble was when I went to cook it, it only had 1 leg! Probably nothing wrong with it but I just couldn't bring myself to eat it, (I have a severe vomiting phobia unfortunately). Anyway my mum's fussy dog enjoyed it

I was so upset for you and her the day she was attacked outside the park. I'm not a great poster but I am an animal lover and I love to read your posts.

I'm not getting on here much at the moment (life throwing me some curved balls at the minute), but just logged on and saw this. I don't know what's gone on, (I fully intend to find out), but don't you dare stop posting on here missus! You are one of the core members of this thread, known and loved by many. There was a night back in January when I pm-ed you because I was upset at the sudden death of a colleague and you were so full of kindess and common sense. You really helped me put things in perspective and I remain very grateful to you.
This thread needs people like you, you are the very heart of this thread and its ethos. If there are any trolls or newbies lurking who do't get that, let them pootle off elsewhere.
