morning everyone, we had a bit of rain in the night

I am out and about later but Id rather be going for my JL coffee and cake - deep sigh. Eldest son is back from his adventures tomorrow so the rest of the week will be spent catching up with more washing :(

OH put a colour on my hair a few days ago and it looks fine, covered well and feels very nice but I cant think where I got it from - I suspect it was one of sainsbobs reductions as I only got 2 and I think I had OH with me and he tends to cure my over enthusiastic hoarding instinct ;)

So I found the right brand and colour shade on ebay and then on Amazon but at a full price  I think I need to leave OH at home or in the car more often

Near the end of todays workout he is shouting:

    In..........out..............in .................out..............in.............out

:rotfl: 2 of my brothers are clearing out the loft today and they found a 20 year old water tank (hasn't been used in 4 years) still with water it in. They just popped downstairs and asked my mother 'if she has a bucket'. It's pretty much gone downhill now. :rotfl:

Best of luck, I'm doing the same thing. After this pack I'm not buying anymore. I keep thinking of the money I could save for an amazing trip somewhere. So also apologies if I turn into a grumpy git this week :D

Nutri grains are still missing the multi on most items in the range but not very good comparisons elsewhere apart from raisin bakes and choc chip bakes (does this second one compare vM £1.24?).

I noticed instore that Lynx 400ml shower gels seem to be being replaced as Lynx XL 400ml in the same flavours - most don't seem to appear on MSL for anyone yet so could work as triggers if you can find something worth comparing to. Most are £3 or 3 for £5.

Kellogg Special K Moments Strawberry appears on MSL but the packages instore are flashed New and don't scan - may be a trigger for something? The other flavours are £1.98, in the 2 for £3 offer on breakfast biscuits - on offer for 99p in M.

May be nothing or may help someone.

Thanks for the words of encouragement :T and well done underperky and nannylala in giving up :T

I survived the travel to work stuck behind a tractor without lighting up, so that's the first challenge done :D

    Well done :T

You absolutely CAN do this :j

It will be one of the best things you've ever done :)

I used to break it down into segments of the day i.e.
    Day 1 morning - done
    Day 1 afternoon - done
Day 1 evening etc etc etc

I was pretty cross and grumpy for a few days (maybe longer if you ask OH :p) but that is to be expected and it is allowed.

I craved them like mad to start with (as does everyone obviously) so for example on Day 3 afternoon I would remind myself that if I lit up then I would have gone through all that for the last 3 days for absolutely nothing, and as I was in the correct mindset for giving up (as you also are :)) I knew I didn't want to have to start again from scratch in the future.

I know a common thing is to put the equivalent amount of money in a jar everyday and watch it add up - I couldn't really be faffed with that so I kept a spreadsheet total which really helped me, as I could not only see how much I had already saved but could project forward by a month, 2 months, a year etc and see how much I was going to save. On 20 a day the ££amounts were phenomenal

:j YOU CAN DO IT :j

Morning folks, not been here for a week due to RL.

Mum taken into hospital last monday, so seem to have been running here there and every where with no time to stop. She's better in her head now thankfully, but still can't weight bare, so there's still a problem. Also my Aunt, her big sis died in the same hospital last friday, very sad but also a bit of a blessing as she was getting bad with altzimers but still recognised faces. :A Luckily one of my cousins had managed to get her to Mums ward in a wheelchair if only for a 15 min visit on wednesday.
Last night I almost collapsed with exhaustion when I came home and got straight into bed about 7.30. Was trying to watch the snooker and FA Youth Cup second round game, but feel asleep before the end of both. Saw most of the youth game but fell asleep when Fulham were 2 goals up on aggregate. Didn't find out result till 4am when I was wide awake. All the lads played so well in both games that I will let them get away with taking the trophey from us. :D:rotfl::D

Anyway, before I forget I quoted a post...... See savvys list postcount 6255 for AvW. Thanks Savvy. :T

Has anyone done an APG on the Kinder. My store has also just introduced same day C&C. :j:j:j

Elsie I am so glad to hear your mum is improving. But so sorry to hear the sad news about your aunt. Look after yourself. xxx

    No apology needed ;)

Good luck, you know you can do this :)

I smoked off and on between my 20's up to age 40, I could weep buckets now when I think about how much money I have wasted over those years.

Brilliant idea to save the money for a great holiday :j
