Right, I'm all set now for a Morries collection (once I wake back up again later on today) - make of what you will the info. that's now on post 6801 currently.
(The idea is they are all on £4.00 or 3 for £10.00 (including 2 for £7.00) in T. Therefore, as two offers in tandem, should compare from £4.00 x3 = £12.00 vs competitor price. If competitor price is 3 for £..., then straight purchase of 3 packs to compare vs that, or with real care, mix and match (need to check the items are in the same 3 for £10 at the competitor and we know the difficulty A has, on manual Avs M, of comparing vs M at mix and match). If competitor offer is 'Any 2 for £...' then perhaps buy 2 packs as part of your £4.00 - 3 for £10.00 in T and your third pack (to pay the 3 for £10.00) to be an item showing individual price for same competitor at, well, £4.00 so that you lose nothing or, preferably, lower than £4.00 (dependant on how much of your T PP cap you have left) - e.g. comparing Tvs A, might go for 2x Hunter's Chicken vs 2 for £6.00 plus one Turkey Breast Quick Cook Steak 350g vs £2.50. Although this might not work as Hunter's Chicken appears to be outside weight. If it did - which it probably won't on the Chicken - it would go 2x Hunter's Chicken £8.00 £6.00 in other words £4 each times two vs 2 for £6.00 and Turkey Breast £4.00 £2.50. I think - as we've discovered already, 3x Turkey Breast pay 3 for £10 but £12 vs £7.50.)
Savvy-does this really add much to what we already know?:think:
Nonetheless, still going to see what I can find...
I think the 'meat price issues' DTDs are way better (in theory, for me) but anyway...even so...
See you later!:wave::wave:0 -
