I quite like the look of the '76 one, might have a look at them in Sports direct later.

Although I have to say I was quite nervous. It's was 9.10am and I was the only person in the food hall!
I would suggest not waiting until the Monday to do the meal deal shop as there wasn't much left to choose from and wait until a few more shoppers are in the store.

Managed to find a £6.92 chicken right at the back of the shelf, mixed veg and a apple pie. No price for the pie so assumed it would be about £3. Then located 2 packs of pasta for £5. Really wanted the rose fizz, but wasn't sure which one was in the deal as no signs anywhere, so went for the white instead.
Off to the till I go put all the food through, then realise the till only says £24.91! Quickly grabbed a packet of apricots (the most expensive I have ever bought in my life) scanned my coupon but it showed 0 value on the till. Anyway hit finish and pay and the total was just over £11, so not too bad for my first attempt.the sales assistant watching my every move.

I'm hoping they will do the meal deal again soon so I can go on the first day of the offer as I have a few more vouchers to use;)

Thanks to everyone for your replies to my questions about how best to use this offer:)

    Good morning Elite

    Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've got internet today (jump jump jump)
Lost connection sometime over night Saturday/Sunday and it was off yesterday morning when I tried to get on. Also found out that my landline phone was of too. These are both with Sky, couldn't get hold of them yesterday on my mobile so I gave up.

DS3 did his charity cycle ride 104 miles yesterday. It seems there was a 4 man accident, one cyclist hit the dirt on the side of the road and went out f control taking out the cyclist to his right (he had to go to hospital and 10 stitches in his face)

DS3 took evasive action at the rear of all this and swerved to the left, over the handle bars into the ditch. Of course, his pedals have cages and his feet were still enclosed so his bike followed him into the ditch. Bike and ds all ok and he continued to complete the ride.

Fairclaire and Stinky thank you for the good luck posts, I passed them on to him. Not spoken to him this morning but I bet he is stiff and sore

Off to pack a small case, my visitor is going home today :(
I'm way back on page 311, but will try to catch up and see you all later

    Happy shopping xx
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.
