Can I just check please, anyone who has set up a TSB account - as it gives you your account number and sort code at the end of the process, can I transfer money straight away do you think or have to wait for the welcome letter etc? I ask as I may have jumped the gun and sent the money already
.
I am sure it will be fine - I see that I will have to wait for the activation letter before I can apply for the second one.
Many thanks

Yes, you can transfer the money straight away.
Don't want to 'waste' any interest.
You don't have to wait for the activation letter to come through either (although that gives you more online features).
When I opened mine, I got prompted to create my online banking passwords etc. (as I was a new TSB customer).
I'd try logging in now; you should notice your account being online.
I also applied for the 2nd account within 5 minutes. This time it didn't ask for any online banking details. When I logged in again; I had 2 accounts up and running.:grouphug:Official MSE canny forumite and HUKD VIP badge member
