Can I just check please, anyone who has set up a TSB account - as it gives you your account number and sort code at the end of the process, can I transfer money straight away do you think or have to wait for the welcome letter etc? I ask as I may have jumped the gun and sent the money already :o.

I am sure it will be fine - I see that I will have to wait for the activation letter before I can apply for the second one.

    Many thanks

Yes, you can transfer the money straight away.

    :)

Don't want to 'waste' any interest.

    ;)

You don't have to wait for the activation letter to come through either (although that gives you more online features).

When I opened mine, I got prompted to create my online banking passwords etc. (as I was a new TSB customer).

I'd try logging in now; you should notice your account being online.

I also applied for the 2nd account within 5 minutes. This time it didn't ask for any online banking details. When I logged in again; I had 2 accounts up and running.

    :)

hello peeps, I made it back in one piece, didn't need the RAC either, though it was very close, as we only had 2 miles left on the battery when we got to the service station.:eek:car is lovely drives so smoothly. I was a bit sad to say goodbye to my old car though.:(
