This from a comp. versus my favourite rival again:rotfl: - sorry N.Ireland, just that M is working out cheaper on a couple of these.
2 x ASDA Butcher's Selection Chicken Breast Fillets (4...£9.00£7.92 Non-Savvy buy
1 x ASDA Green Seedless Grapes (500g)£1.50£2.50:eek: Definitely not Savvy buy
1.96 x ASDA Butcher's Selection Chicken by Weight per kg£6.44£5.88 Savvy buy(-ish)
However, the Chicken Breast Fillets appear to be comparing vs the item on 2 for £7 in Morries that I keep ignoring each time. This is because it is way too expensive! Even against that £7.92 price (for two). My guide price on Chicken Breast Fillets - not that I should tell the supermarkets this - is about £5/kg. Lol - the 2 for £7 ones in M give a promotion of the mbuy price per kg (they rarely do that, they usually put just the single item price per kg there and leave us trying to work out whether it is cheaper on mbuy than another item that appears to be higher priced on weight). It says something like £2 for £7 - that's £6.xx per kg!". I can't remember the exact price they give (or even if it begins with £6), because, whatever it is, it's way way too expensive for me! Maybe I have it wrong here as I keep ignoring it but, anyway, whatever it is I keep seeing it and thinking yes - way too expensive price. And that's the 'cheaper' mbuy "saving" price that I think is way too expensive, leave alone the impossible single unit price:eek:.
But the Whole Chicken seems okay - M price of £5.88 (for the 1.96kg they bought) working out at £3/kg. We've seen lower comps before (vs T at about £2.50/kg) but this one vs M here doesn't seem too bad.0 -

I haven't done too many recently apart getting a 1l bottle of Lambs Navy Rum and a bottle of Coke to go with it!
I've seen the carver ham is working today. Is there anything in particular you're after?
I think this is why no-one answered asset's post about what to buy in A
This might help their other question about special k promoGot a small glitch which uses a TRIGGER to work
This is AvM (sorry NI)
The Special K 5 pack Biscuit Moments are 99p in M at mo - but the APG doesn't see the new CARAMEL variety bc 5053827112970
They are in the 2 for £3 in Sada
As I also bought 2 of the Kelloggs Nutri-grain Bakes it didn't work out a great glitch cause I could have just gone to M's to get the Special K biscuit moments for 99p.
The 2 lots of 2 for £3 deals are on my receipt as a combined multibuy saving. You must be able to mix and match between the offers.
This is only of use if you have APG's to recycle or you shop in A's and not M's
Oh and don't get the Mcvities 12pk Jaffa Cakes as MSM believes they are 50p in M's but the APG isn't seeing that - nor the disney cake cases as MSM shows them as 59p!!!
Why £4.34?
A v M
0.19 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg £0.13 £0.12
0.09 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight per kg £0.23 £0.24
2 x McVitie's Jaffa Cakes (12) £2.00 £2.38
1 x McVitie's Penguin Bars (9x24g) £1.00 £0.74
1 x McVitie's Penguin Bars - Mint (9x22g) £1.00 £0.74
1 x Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Breakfast Bakes Choc Chip (6... £2.38 £1.24
1 x Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Breakfast Bakes Raisin (6x45... £2.48 £1.24

I reckon that a lot of these breakfast bars and Maryland things are a right rip off. Most of what you are paying for is packaging and they don't even taste very nice.I quite like trying them at a glitchy price though. But why people buy them at full price I can't understand.0
