It's my first purchase of any of the Breakfast bars. It was the words "Chocolate Chip" that spurred me into action !

I didn't think chocolate chip was working as I've only got fruit bars:o
Will look again at your shop:cool:

Not that us elite would ever fall for any of these tricks ... But makes a fun read over a cup of :coffee: ..tricks used by supermarkets to make us spend more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I loved this article. One of the stores looked familair but I realise is my local.

I recognise the tricks plus a few extra ones, like mixing bottles/packets on offer on the shelf mixed between similar ones that aren't part of the deal.

Also the price labels that say Xp per 100ml don't mention that the good value own brand has a wider-necked bottle so more gets dispensed evry time you pour it out. ;)

Plus garish unsightly packaging for value own-brand items to put peopole off buying them.

And blowing the smell of the bakery to the front to make you hungry.

Got a small glitch which uses a TRIGGER to work
    This is AvM (sorry NI)
The Special K 5 pack Biscuit Moments are 99p in M at mo - but the APG doesn't see the new CARAMEL variety bc 5053827112970
They are in the 2 for £3 in Sada
As I also bought 2 of the Kelloggs Nutri-grain Bakes it didn't work out a great glitch cause I could have just gone to M's to get the Special K biscuit moments for 99p.
The 2 lots of 2 for £3 deals are on my receipt as a combined multibuy saving. You must be able to mix and match between the offers.

This is only of use if you have APG's to recycle or you shop in A's and not M's

Oh and don't get the Mcvities 12pk Jaffa Cakes as MSM believes they are 50p in M's but the APG isn't seeing that - nor the disney cake cases as MSM shows them as 59p!!!

    Why £4.34?

    A v M

0.19 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg £0.13 £0.12
0.09 x ASDA Mushrooms by Weight per kg £0.23 £0.24
    2 x McVitie's Jaffa Cakes (12) £2.00 £2.38
    1 x McVitie's Penguin Bars (9x24g) £1.00 £0.74
    1 x McVitie's Penguin Bars - Mint (9x22g) £1.00 £0.74
    1 x Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Breakfast Bakes Choc Chip (6... £2.38 £1.24
    1 x Kellogg's Nutri-Grain Breakfast Bakes Raisin (6x45... £2.48 £1.24
    1 x Kellogg's Special K Biscuit Moments Strawberry (5x... £1.98 £0.99
    1 x ASDA Whole Cucumber £0.50 £0.49
1 x ASDA Chosen by You Little Princess Cupcake Cases (... £1.22 N/A
    2 x ASDA Chicken & Bacon Layered Salad (180g) £2.00 N/A

Comparison total (compared products only) £11.70 £8.18
    The end is nigh

Been to a couple of friendlies at Aldershot I think the lovely Gary Waddock was manager for a while

Don't recall him, but have often worked in the Manager's office when Dean Holdsworth was there, he took one look at the wiring I was testing and immediately came to the conclusion I had to be a genius to figure it all out :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (mind you, technically I am:D).
