Good morning everyone, sun is shining but it's still bitter cold, time for a thick cardigan.
I was in the midst of getting mags from Sainsburys to test out the double up nectar card offer. I had a MOC for HOme and Garden and one for Vogue from some newspaper earlier in the week along with 2 gardening mags with free seeds on the cover - I really wanted Gardeners World with the BOGOF card on the front but the had none of these
So anyway I thought £10 of mags.
I asked OH to check the dates on my MOCs - both were OOD, must have been one day wonders
So I left all of them, no mags at all.
Trouble is if I managed to find Gardeners World in the other sainsbobs I think its £4 plus the other 2 gardening mags I was looking at this morning it would be £9.97 - 3p short of a tenner
I just ended up getting a bit of salad but neither cards gave me any good enough till spits - I usually get a £3 wys £20 off one card but its 3 weeks now since I've had one of these conditional spends
I think my shopping mojo has well and truly gone again - last time this happened, think it was January it took 6 weeks to return.
I've tried looking in charity shops but nothing sparks any interest. I've tried looking at plants in Morrisons but still nothing.
Its a bit like writers block. You can sit at your desk armed with your clean paper etc but if the muse is lacking there is no forcing it and you won't get even a sentence written.
Oh well it will be the garden for me then and a bit if ebaying
Firstly to read back incase anything exciting happened overnight.“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

What a gorgeous day:T
Thanks for the heads up on the JD Dave. I'm going to buy in S tomorrow.....the 1L for £23 .....the shelves will probably be empty:o
Do S still do a BM on spirits? Be careful it might be excluded now they've introduced those ridiculous new rules. I know they don't count as part of your spend for using cond spends, I'm not sure about BM though?
ETA Just had a quick look at the T&C and can't see spirits on the exclusion list so it should be ok for a BM. It must just be cond spends they're excluded from. That stupid new rule just got sillier!0 -
