It was centerparcs and even after paying for 5 new passports ,petrol and the tunnel it's still a lot cheaper:cool::)
Thanks just had a look, but the dates don't seem to go up to next year yet. Will look back at Christmas. Looks fantastic though. I soooooo want to go. We have the passports already, could club card the tunnel
So happy I know about this now, thank you so so muchPan drawers in 2016 £1500 needed.0 -
Do you have people who can manage your animals and farm etc if you go away?
Your family def needs a big family holiday even if its only a long weekend or a 4 day midweek - I know money is very tight though and to make matters worse its now getting towards peak season.
We used to go to a self catering cottage which was on a farm - they had several of these cottages all in a courtyard plus bed and breakfast rooms and it also had an indoor pool. That sort of thing would suit your family nicely.
This was on the Scottish Borders but there must be something similar in Wales.
We also used to go to a cottage outside York which had a massive garden and a games room, the kids just vanished as soon as we arrived and we never worried about them. There were 2 cottages so again ideal for big families. Again there must be something similar in Wales.
We have also had some fabulous breaks in hostels - ideal for families. One place we had a book room in a separate annex
And then if all else fails there is always camping - a lot of the kit you might get from your local Freecycle group, always worth putting a request on your group.
thanks so much x your right we could do with a break, camping is such a good idea as the boys both have their own 2 person tents for xmas and dd2 has a large 6 person one. and my brother has a big tent so we could use all the stuff and go some where.
once the horses are out of stables for the summer it will be easier to get a neighbour to help out with the animals:T
so looks like i have some planning to do even if we dont go far:D:D so thank you so much for the suggestion

I would, in fact the iron may help her feel less tired. I had to be put on iron tablets as I was anaemic. The difference in my energy levels was amazing, they were like little energy boosters. I didn't realised just how tired I was until i felt the difference. I couldn't afford to eat steak at the time as I only like fillet
How does she like it cooked? I would probably do it medium but not if she then wouldn't like it, it would be a waste. My husband insisted on giving me fried eggs without the runny yolk, he might as well have not bothered! I know he was doing it out of concern but so infuriating at the time. He said you can still have eggs just not runny ones, I replied he could still have brown sauce just not HP:D I won
Sorry little off topicIf only batman was here, he'd soon get you told0 -

Any new mags at T yet Elaine?
I have not been into T's for over a weeks so not seen ant. I did see the new mag via email & did not look that interesting. Having lots of NSD's (apart from wombles). Desperately need to use stuff up from the cupboards and freezer.0 -
Savvybuyer wrote: »:doh:Another prompt for myself - many thanks!:T I did see that in M but forgot to mention it! Although not as good as the 90p per can, or possibly even cheaper, that people got during the now legendary 3 for 2 glitch of several years ago. I think that's why I tend to forget these products now, and the several pounds prices on them as none of them ever come close to matching that!:rotfl:
(Cut down for clarity.)
Many thanks for this! It's helped me on my own shop:T:T. Folks I have been lurking on here during the day and saw the Paxo Stuffing vs T at 25p (and also vs W at the same price - now, why did I not know about that yesterday when I did my vs W shopping?). That's an excellent find - works out better than SP Stuffing:T:T:T!
I now see T at N/A on msm both when signed in and out. Bloomin' msm failing to mark this out and mark it as the Savvy Buy that it absolutely is! I suspect this 25p must have been a price on t.com at some stage - it seems very cheap though, especially for Paxo, wonder why? - and it seems W have price-matched it under their "T price match" thing. Which is good news:j, for non-N.I. comparers as can shop in A and use the Paxo Stuffing together with the two specific different Shape yogs, hopefully, vs W. There's 3 out of the 8 anyroad!:D
During my lurkdom earlier today, I noticed there may have been something I'd missed on Dettol multi-surface-type cleaners. However, I saw 91 on msm and 91 on a.com (signed in) in the 2 for £2 cleaning:(. I also noticed the Flash Gels - 400ml ones - but found they were, sadly, instore at £1.50 and 2 for £2 on the lemon one and the others expensive priced and no mbuy. So didn't seem any anomaly to take full and complete advantage of, so I didn't bother with any £3 extra spending on my shopping (was hoping the non-Lemon might be 2 for £3 instore, but sadly not). Instead - all's well:
8 items (Savvy:eek::rotfl::rotfl::D) on your bill qualify for comparison
Tesco
+£1.16
0.16 x ASDA Bananas by Weight per kg£0.11£0.10
1 x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2L)£0.17£0.17
1 x Stork (1Kg)£2.00£2.00
1 x Paxo Sage & Onion Stuffing (170g)£0.98£0.25:T
1 x Kingsmill Crumpets (6)£0.75£0.60
1 x Kingsmill Love to Toast Toasting Waffles (6)£0.85£0.60
1 x ASDA British Single Cream (300ml)£0.70£0.69
1 x ASDA Broccoli (335g)£0.50£0.49
Comparison total£6.06£4.90
20p back on TCB Snap & Save on the Stork. I decided I did like the Waffles enough after all, on these prices, to buy one pack on this occasion. I think you can maximise this out by buying (just) 2x Waffles then compares 85px2 vs instead of 85p+75p. Although, as that would be just one item, not two different, may then find yourself spending a little more on a further item to get the 8 if you're only at 7 due to the KM being Waffles x2. Sounds a bit like me:rotfl: - waffles!:D:rotfl::rotfl: Rather than them being one each of two different KMs.
I avoided the 600ml £1.35 A's Fresh Cream that I saw in store, with a big r'back flying-type thing protruding from the shelf, I noticed that the on-shelf price per unit for that was slightly less than the price per unit on the 300ml Cream but as T were still cheaper by a penny on 300ml and then 10% off that worked out with the 300ml Cream being cheaper!!:rotfl: So no amount of pointing out to me and prominence trying to get me to take the 600ml Cream would work!:D:D:rotfl::T (I'm a very savvy person there you see!:rotfl::rotfl::D)
And, for info. GB shoppers - the Stork 1kg does pick up Morries £2 price on the APG, so all's well as of current price collection (which I assume is the Wednesday one, now lasts till the results of the next one next Tuesday (day after bank hol.) are updated to the system).
