Ye, but this is connected to all bank accounts so, you pay less interest on mortgage...which is the killer. So, less interest and you can make overpayments.

I'm not always a fan of having all your accounts linked to the same institution...sometimes you can get a better interest rate elsewhere which will then compensate for the fact you dont link everything in...

But its horses for courses in my mind and what suits one person wont always suit the next...but hopefully whichever way you repay your mortgage the benefits to disposable income and the knowledge of being mortgage free dont substantially differ whichever way you chose to do it...its the fact that you have the satisfaction of knowing yourself that you did....

Why always buy a car with a roof ?

I managed to buy a convertible a couple of years back, thanks to my MSE ways :D

Now I drive my car without a roof on a regular basis :j
