Ooohh - I'd like to any recommendations for a Sainsbobs shop too please. I have a £15 off £60 spend coupon and no idea what to get. Savvy did explain to me last night that it would be very difficult to get bargains in Sainsbobs while trying to spend £60 on stuff I need/will use but if anyone has any good ideas I would ...:j:j:j

    SvA as posted before are:

Birds eye rice fusions - golden veg £1.70 v £1 with 40p c/b from shopiteyes
    Fox’s jam and cream rings 150g £1 v 50p with 30p SZ
    Dairylea dunkers 4 x 46g £2.25 v £1 60p back SZ
    HP sauce 425g squeezy £1.25 v £1 – 40p cb
    receipt via COS for 25p

I also find that S jackets/trousers can sometimes be odd sizing so occasionally have to return items for a refund ;)

I'd have a look at other items apart from groceries. If when you get them home they're not right you can always return them. Obviously you'd need to buy some well chosen groceries too icon12.gif

Hello to you all! De-lurking to say hello, I have been reading for a while, and practising with the odd A copied shop here and there. I now have a couple of APGs to use up, (some I messed up, some are almost the same as I paid, oops, LOL!)thanks so much to you all. But I am so nervous about using them! You are all so cool about it, I am so worried about being trouted! Any tips for a newbie, please?

Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.

I agree that you'll quickly find out which SA's are good ones.. so go to them. Also, chatting to them and generally being nice usually works (but not in my T's, most of them are dreadful :(). In A, if i need to boost my spend to hide the cost and APG of something, I have a Xmas saving Giftcard and ask them to put £2 on it. It makes the receipt longer and up's your total..:D

Thanks Tiger! I have been reading avidly, for some time now, but it's so hard to keep up with you all! I usually (muggle) shop at A, but can get to S, or T. Thanks so much for the help, and to 3010 and Mumto2monkeys. Cashback is a good idea. :-)

    morning all

had a quick browse in my poky little asda, no 7pk beans as was going to try them as have none!! but I did grab 2 carver hams and 1 of each of the niveas at 10:51 lol, carver ham is new to my store as they have just added a new section to the fridge area but omg you should see the state of the front of the store what a mess, they have built an outdoor shed for summer stuff and got rid of nearly all the trolleys and then put a big trampoline slightly blocking the front doors. I can see why people don't bother with that store (was going to put red face smily here but I can't get them to work) and green smily here lol
