DD1 is doing a brilliant job so far much better than I did with her. I guess she watched and learnt what I did with her sisters, I never had that chance.

Me too! I'd never even looked at a baby before DS1 arrived. I'm not saying I'd never thought about children, it was in the locker for the future....maybe
OH was in Bosnia when he was born so it was just me I was terrified. I think Ive said before I rang my dad to deal with the belly button stuff and bless his heart, he came
I have to say though those first few months coping on my own did me no harm at all

Some of my cousins had children but I was never asked if I wanted to hold them. I didn't have much front then. I was pretty shy believe it or not.

My dad was really good to, would drive over while Mr TS was at work and hold DD1 for me while I managed to shower in the mornings. :A
