    Good morning.
    Happy birthday Rose.
FC does DS2 ever spot the BBE date and refuse to eat them? Mine checks every date and point blankly refuses to touch if OOD, only recently has it finally got through to him it's only use by dates you need follow to the letter. He now checks for these, my cupboards, fridge and freezer are in date order due to him reordering them so he doesn't have to worry until I do the weeks shop.

Yes he does SD. Especially a pain of I buy stuff like apples etc. which are fine way past the BBE dates. I try and get rid of the packaging so he can't see the dates :o He's ok with the frubes being frozen after a mammoth discussion about freezing and how it suspends the dates :D

My daughter does not have the same challenges your son does, and she used to go mad when I insisted on keeping the cheese until well after the use by date. I like my cheese mature, she was not even eating this cheese (things like stilton and brie) and one time when we went on holiday I had a nice brie tucked away at the back of the fridge 2 or 3 months out of date, it was just getting nice and soft. Came home and it had been binned  She went through the fridge and binned everything out of date, even yogurt that was only a week past :eek: We never did settle that argument before she left home, but I did notice yogurt a couple of days past it's date in her fridge and mentioned it, she told me there was no way she was throwing that away as it cost good money :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I did point out what she used to do to my fridge and she just replied it wasn't her money then
