I've just heard that one of my school friends lost her teenage son during the night, he went to sleep and never woke up. Can only imagine how she's feeling right now.
To now read that the squabbles are still going on upsets me, please remember life is too short do we really want to waste it squabbling about things we as adults should learn to ignore?

Appologies if all calmed down now got 20 pages to catch up on and just been an emotional few days for me with the build up to back to school for DS and trying to reassure him he will cope. He got loads of extra cuddles tonight, mainly because I'm glad I still have him.

I am so sorry to hear this and you are right life is to short x hope all is well with you SD x

Scamps, so sorry to hear about your illness but good to have you back.

SD, no words, that's just so awful. Thinking of your poor friend.

Thanks to those who've posted photos, I've enjoyed looking at them this evening. Had a nice little chat with my mum earlier tonight and she seemed to be in reasonable form considering what a week she's had. Hope the other poorly parents are doing ok.

    Night all x

Good, the thread is lucky to have you :A. You are doing exactly what it says in midwinter's wise words in the first post of this thread.

I've more or less reconciled myself to what we discussed thank you, but life is currently destroying much of what I thought the rest of my life held for me and my family and it takes some coming to terms with. No doubt we shall find a way to move forward, but I think it will take a while to get used to. It's a wise old saying: "How do you make God laugh? Tell Him your plans."

But I am very blessed in my lovely husband and we shall get through it together. x

You obviously have your priorities the right way.:T
I hope that you both get through it, in the 'best' (for want of a better word) possible way for you. x

    did it not dry up?

Nope, just about 20 mins till the florets started to brown a little, worth a try, I think it has improved the flavour no end. :)
