Yes it is bit a bit more hard and gritty. it actually hurts my teeth just thinking about it now
but I loved it as a kid. Your granny always had to make tablet to sell at a school event. As I remember it's (lots of) sugar, butter and condensed milk......think of the calories in that :eek:
My grans was a whole 2lb bag of sugar, half a pound of butter and a tin of evaporated milk and vanilla essence. It was ready after it boiled and you chucked some in a cup of cold water and it formed a ball.
