Been through MMR and survived

Had my full mortgage application through Natwest today, for help to buy under the new MMR application, it wasn't nearly as bad as I expected.
Minimal questions on outgoings, just a quick check through my direct debits each month, and the stress testing was straight forward as I went for a 5 year fix.
Main issue was that the computer systems were updated overnight, to take into account the new criteria, and didn't come back online until 2 hours after my appointment was due to start, but they managed to fit me in still.
All went well, and I got the offer I hoped for, without the courtroom style grilling I was expecting :j

Glad it went well for you.
Who did you apply with? What rate did they stress test you at?
Thanks.marlasinger0 -
I went through Natwest, who I've banked with for 20 years (big advantage) and as I went for a 5 year fixed rate at 5.49% she said that as SVR was below that at the minute, and nobody could predict where it would be 5 years from now, that it would not need to be applied!!!
Really did not expect the process to be anything like as simple as it was, I was prepared to have to justify why I bought my cats whiskers instead of tesco's basic cat food etc. but there was nothing like that at all.0
