Glamour May Giveaway

I've done a Google search for the big May giveaway as we're getting to the end of April, but I can't see anything. Hope they haven't decided not to do one this year, it's my favourite!!
Anyone seen anything?

I was thinking the same. I've got the May addition of Glamour and went through it cover to cover but unfortunately no mention of the giveaway.

Were there a lot of complaints about prizes being late/not arriving last year? I just came across the page listing the winners from last year

and at the top it says

Further to the enquiries that we have received following the May Giveaway, please see the terms and conditions below.

The competition question will remain the same for the full 31 days, but you must answer it every day that you wish to be entered.

All qualifying entrants who answer the question correctly will be placed in a free prize draw.

Although we will endeavour to contact all winners, problems with emails cannot be addressed and in these cases, the prize will be sent directly to the winner.

The prize will be dispatched within 5 weeks of the competition closing date (31st May). Therefore queries regarding the delivery of prizes cannot be entered into and will not be investigated before the 5th July 2013.

There is no cash alternative to the prize.

Could they have decided it is not worth the hassle?

From experience and reading other posts on various sites (FB, twitter, blogs etc) - it seems people are getting impatient. I've spoken to blog owners who have had winners contact them 48 hours asking why a prize hadn't turned up!

Maybe if people read the T&Cs and at least give the approximate time for a prize to arrive before enquiring, Glamour wouldn't have had to put up that notice.

I always state 28 days, I've known comps that have had up to 6 months - my daughter won a comp that ended in July yet wasn't delivered until Christmas Eve! Good job we had no idea on that one

To be honest, I wouldn't blame Glamour if they chose not to run it.

Cheers for the link... that's the standard "one prize to be won a day" that they do every month, but we were all hoping for the big May beauty giveaway.
