Help debt free at 30

Okay so this still hasn't sinked in yet but I inherited just over 200k, it's sat in my normal bank account for just under 4 weeks whilst I try and get my head round it. I paid my mortgage off and after a holiday and treats I will have the best part of 100k left! I'm single with no children or pets! I'm mortgage free and I'm female and I haven't a clue how to invest it wisely before I spend it! I'm not thick it won't last forever but I hope I can invest wisely? Any ideas what to do? I earn over 1,300 a month too?

Congratulations on being mortgage free. However, this is the debt-free diaries section, where posters document their debt-free journeys and post for encouragement and support. Your best bet is to head over to the savings and investment boards where there will be more people in your position that can offer advice.

    Good luck for the future.
