i have a debt with NCO / RMA and recently agreed to a full and final settlement figure and i sent a cheque as payment on the 10th April .. it shows as delivered on 11th April but no signature is showing ..i sent it recorded delivery
This payment still hasnt been taken out bank ( my brothers account) .. and no correspondence since i sent it ..it is now 25th April ..i tried phoning then yesterday but for some reason phone wasn't working ...message saying voicemail full at their end
has anyone previously sent a cheque to them as payment ..do they normally wait this long to cash it ?

Some creditors wont accept payment from 3rd parties, I had a cheque returned for that reason, give it a week, it will either be cashed or returned to you !!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
