Hi, just wondering I put my username into google with winner beside it and it came up with a few competitions I had entered, does that mean that I have won them!
Sorry for being stupid!

Did you click on the link to open to see what it said?Thank you all who post.0

Yeah but it didn't say that I'd won, it was just a couple of comps that I had entered and thought it was strange! I'm a bit clueless to all this!0

Is it possible that the results you are finding are from the MSE site, just showing that you have thanked the poster for the comp? If you click on the link does it bring you to the MSE site? I have been told that searching for your name AND 'winner' or 'congratulations' is a good way of checking for wins you might not be notified of though, but use your real name I think (whichever name you entered with).0

Is your username only used on MSE, or do you use it elsewhere too? Your search will show wherever your username is mentioned. So if you make a comment with your username, that comment will show in the results, unless and until they remove the comments. Anyway, if you click to open the links surely they would show whether they are quoting you, or congratulating you on a win - or at least most of them should do that. I think that sometimes you can get a hit with a search on a comment that's been deleted.
Blu XI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!
When you talk down to others it says more about you than them.0 -
Thanks Guys, I think I was hoping for my first win and got a bit excited!
Thanks again0
