Hi does any one know if there are any competition blogs out the re written by people who dedicate most of there time to comping ? Also does anyone successfully do competitions as a part time living.
I read a daily mail article a while back about a lady called Kim Searle, she had to give up work for a while as she had cancer and she won prizes everday, I have cancer now and will be off work for a long time, and have gone comping mad, I have had 10 very small wins so far, but I love it.
Would love to hear your thoughts,x:)

Its a great Hobby, i wish you all the best on your treatment xOn a little 15 month journey0

in answer to your quests yes I know compers who run blogs, and no you can't make any sort of living from comping as most prizes have fairly low values when new - such as dvds, books etc. You may get the occasional bigger win which you could sell id it's not against your ethicsproud gran to 4 lovely boys and one little girl0

Hi FairyFace - Just wanted to say good luck with your treatment and hope you are lucky in your new found hobby!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Hope you get loads of fun out of this hobby! My advice would be to treat it like that, rather than a means of income, then you'll never be disappointed. Just beware of the addictive nature tho', and make sure you're enjoying Real Life too

I don't think the OP was looking for that kind of tip. Seems rather unkind.

And that is a reason why i have never put pictures of my kids online - who knows what the future holds for them
at least the worst video of me knocking about is on cine film0 -
I've only ever found one picture of me online and in it I am wearing a fancy dress costume involving a big hat, I'm pleased to say I am completely unrecognisable.0
