Hi all,
Halifax valued the property i am trying to buy yesterday so i was just wondering if anyone knew whats the normal timescale on letting my broker/me know if it was all ok etc ?

Ours was valued on a Tuesday and we had the letter in the post on Thursday. No idea if that's the normal way or not!0

My valuation on my property took aboyt 6 days, they are swamped in the mortgage team at the moment with the new rules, so advisable to follow up with them.0

The timescale of my Halifax funded move so far is as follows :
Viewing 2/3/14
Offer accepted 14/03/14
Mortgage Offered 17/03/14
Valuation 21/03/14
Solicitors Questionnaire 25/03/14
Solicitor received mortgage offer from Halifax 15/04/14
Searches completed 18/04/14
Fixtures and Fittings list received 20/04/14
Valuation report received by solicitor 22/04/140 -

2 days myn tookDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
