    Hi all,

Just returned from holiday and am confused by the new shop and earn offer. Is it five times points on all shop and earn partners.

    Thanks

    Clear as mud, isn't it?

No sorry it is not clear to me. For instance with the White Company they give 15 points per pound surely they are not going to increase that?

Sorry to bring a bit of maths into this thread but a 500% increase in points would equate to 6 times the present number of points, not 5 times.

A 100% increase on 100 points would give you 200 points.
A 200% increase on 100 points would give you 300 points.
A 300% increase on 100 points would give you 400 points.
A 400% increase on 100 points would give you 500 points.
A 500% increase on 100 points would give you 600 points.

Anyway enough of the maths, is the Tesco Wine still 5 points, or can I look forward to an increase in points there?
  • hi, me and my mum got our dove samples today! or rather, my mum did - mine was missing from the envelope :( got the voucher though. do you think there's any way in getting a replacement sample?

When I get sufficiently desperate, I put random letters in the blanks and press the 'check' button. Although it's not that random, first I work my way through the vowels, then if that doesn't make the answer clear I see if there is an 'obvious' letter to try, eg if you've got T_R at the start of a word, and that blank isn't a vowel, it's almost bound to be an H. Or if you've I_G at the end of a word, odds on that's an N.

But sometimes I'm putting in B, C, D etc until I get the answer! And sometimes when I've done THAT, and GOT the answer, I'm ranting "But that's just WRONG! That clue does NOT give that answer!"

But as droopsnout and Jules have found, some of the clues come up time and time again. I still don't see why 'cleansing agent' always HAS to be shampoo, but it does!

There are online crossword solvers, of course ...

    Hi all -

an amazing offer on pigsback I saw today:
Join the LOVEFiLM 'Fellowship' and earn
    1,250 PiggyPoints!
Has the quality 'Departed' from your DVD collection? Is your movie watching experience more of a 'Bogus Journey' than an 'Excellent Adventure'? Are you being held to 'Ransom' by late fees for your DVD rental... does it make you want to 'Scream' (1, 2, 3)? Well, don't worry, there's no need to be 'Dazed and Confused' because LOVEFiLM.com has arrived! Register with LOVEFiLM.com and you’ll get a two week free trial to their DVD rental service and
1,250 PiggyPoints. If you decide to stay a member for three more months, from just £4.99 a month, you’ll earn an extra 150 PiggyPoints!

Sadly I can't do it as I trialled love film for 250 piggypoints (boy do I regret that now) but maybe some of you haven't tried it yet. For 1250 piggyoints, it's worth a pop!
