how long have you been a member, if you're brand new it won't let you order anything for, 10 days i think it is. somebody else will be able to confirm this (or it might be on the front page).

you can order something now as soon as you join, think they have done away with the 10 day waiting period;)

Is CDWOW really going under? I've just ordered vouchers with my piggy points - am I going to be able to use them and get what I order?

I had £50 worth of piggypoints to cash and have just ordered £20 boots vouchers-I dont want to order them all at the same time incase they go missing. incase they put the points up.

i ordered 40.00 lastweek and they came recordered delivery;)
  • Looks like CD Wow might may well have a problem (it would certainly explain the major delays on a recent CD order), but their vouchers are still available from PB this morning so I'm not sure where you are looking hibees

I'm only a couple of weeks away from a 50 quid voucher (the only reason I do PB really). Not sure what to do really. Order two £20 ones or hold out and hope?
  • Aha, I see what you mean. I've tried ordering my £20 vouchers but it won't seem to let you. I click to add to my basket, then click the Order rewards button, but the page just refreshes and nowt happens. Maybe just a site problem mind.

This could really spoil my day...

EDIT: Maybe it is a site problem. I just tried to put through a quid donation to one of the charities and it wouldn't have that either. Hmmm....

IF (can't see anything on Google about it) they are in administration they won't be sending out any more items I wouldn't have thought as they will keep all the stock to pay off the banks, finance companies etc. That happened to me once, I ordered concert tickets, paid nearly £100 for them then received a letter a few months later to tell me I wouldn't get my tickets because the promoters had gone bust and kept my money even thought they knew they were in trouble when the tickets were offered for sale. I had to claim back the money from my credit card company in the end. I always get Boots vouchers from Pigsback and use them for mobile phone top ups, receiving Boots advantage card points at the same time.

Sometimes, if there's a possibilty of a company continuing under new management etc, they may be allowed to continue trading I believe but it may pose problems. I preordered a CD from them last month and it took nearly 4 weeks to arrive but I did get it in the end. It's a tough choice, do we continue to support them in the hope they will carry on or not risk our precious money/vouchers?

According to this, they appear to be in 'receivership', but as they're continuing to trade it looks as though the Hong Kong definition of receivership is maybe closer to the UK idea of being in administration; ie, hoping to keep going until they can find a buyer.
