Repossession, what next?

Hi, I was discharged at the end of last year, the only outstanding issue was the house.
The mortgage company was in court today for a possession order, despite the fact my ex had voluntarily surrendered the house and that I haven't lived there for a couple of years.
I refused to sign the forms saying that I surrendered the keys due to the clause about liability for the shortfall but did send a letter saying I did not object to the repossession and that I had no liability due to my BR.
Anyway, my question is, what next? How long (roughly) does it take before this will be out of my hair? (what's left of it, anyway!)
Thanks in advance.

Took around 6 months when I gave up my house for them todo all the legal stuff and then sell at auction.0

My house was empty for a year before repossession started, at which point I was already discharged. I believe it was sold about six months later.
From the day of the court proeedings for the repossession, I never heard a peep from anyone. There was a substantial negative equity too which fell into my BR.
So to answer your question "What next?" - there wasn't a "next" from the point of repossession (for me anyway). I just got on with life and forgot about the house!0
