To be fair, the reviews that mention the funny taste/smell are correct, but it appears to be wearing off now. I will persevere for another week.

We bought this kettle in this very deal and it's great. Some people in those reviews have complained about a plastic or a metallic taste, but I would say that those people should take their's back for an exchange because ours is just perfect. Perhaps there is some slight variation in the kettles and there are a few out there with this symptom, but we use ours to make baby milk with so that would tell anyone that ours is just fine.

I feel that this is an adults only kettle....

I wouldn't let small children use it or the elderly....


I would love Jamface to explain under normal circumstances they would let small children near the kettle? :rotfl:
