I am going to sell some crafted item in a local store, they take 25% , how can I calculate this. Not what to put on but what they will take off. Thank You.

Multiply by 0.25 to get their take. Multiply by 0.75 to see what's left (your take).
So if your item is £1, they take 25p, leaving you with 75p.
Maybe phone them to confirm your calculations? I'm sure they'd be helpful.0 -
and without having to use a calculator or do multiplication, you can just take your price and halve and halve again to find 1/4 or 25% which will be their 'take'."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

Multiply by .75 for your share.
Multiply sale price by 4, divide by 3 to get selling price.
