6.28 question

Hi

at the very start of the 6.28 form it shows the following

Statement of Affairs (Debtor’s Petition)
Insolvency Act 1986
Form 6.28

In the

In Bankruptcy

No. ________ of 20 _____

does anything need to be filled in where it says "in the", and then "in bankruptcy" and then the blanks after "NO" "of 20"?

or do you leave them blank and start from section 1 personal details?

Thanks

Leave that bit blank :) you don't get the number until you attend court.

silly question but I need to clarify..

the 6.27 form, the parts that need scoring out, can you delete them bits on computer completely and then print it out or does it need to be scored out by pen?

They need to be scored out, when I did it I used the strike through option in word. Highlighted the fields that weren't applicable and then selected the strike through option :)
  • how many pages of forms is there to fill out for a bankruptcy and approx how long will it take? just asking coz need to be doing this within the next couple months

There is 29 pages to go through on the 6.28 form and 3 for the 6.27 form, not everything will apply to you though and you may need additional pages to explain things.

It took me around 6 hours one Sunday afternoon to complete with about 30 to 45 minutes spread out here and there making slight adjustments.

my court requires 3 copies, that's about £10 worth of printing/copying.

lets hope I don't make a mistake and have to re do it.

are you sure the 6.27 form requires things scored out that don't apply and not just deleted completely coz it says on the side (F-delete as necessary). I've already done mines on computer so don't want to do it again unless I really have to.

Mine were scored out, it's what show's on the citizens advice bureau's example also so probably best to do it.

Step Change advised me to cross them out rather than delete. He said it just shows the judge that you have read it all and you understand.
