Mortgage after BR

Hi all, I posted in here a few years ago after being declined a mortgage after being discharged from bankruptcy. In the time since then I've improved my score some more (now at 920-980 depending when you check), and have a decent salary. I'm now looking to get a mortgage again on my own.
After checking today, I find that the bankruptcy has completely gone from my credit file public record section. No trace of bad credit whatsoever. (I heard the bankruptcy was only on there for 6 years but I didn't believe it). So, now that it's gone, when I apply for a mortgage in a few days, can I say no to the usual bankruptcy questions or do I still have to declare it?

If the question is "Have you EVER been Bankrupt" then you will have to answer yes.
Having said that it is best to see a broker as there are some companies who will be OK with ticking no if it's over 6 years since you were BR (I believe Halifax are one but there may be others) and a broker will know which companies are more likely to disregard an old bankruptcy.0 -
Cheers, will let you know how it goes
