Complaining about a loan

No there is nothing saying it was advised.
Think I'll have to put it down to an expensive mistake
You probably will, but you could try claiming back any PPI on the loan.
I must say I have never claimed, any loan has ever been mis-sold, I have always accepted I took the money. But I have successfully claimed back PPI, as it was added without any conversation, because the previous loan had it and I was covered by work for sickness anyway, which they never enquired about, otherwise they would have informed me (I hope) that it would offer no benefit to me.
My circumstance was similar, I was rung out of the blue by my bank back in 2007 and asked if I wanted to consolidate or top up my loan which was due to finish in the next 12 - 18 months.
I said yes and asked how much could I get and they said, you are 100% approved for up to £7500. Naturally being foolish with money then, I went for the full amount and it was in my account within hours.0 -
Definitely no PPI as I'm self employed so I always make doubly sure it's not included. Here I go again on my own....0
