Do you have a current pension forecast? If you have already reached £145 or so the rebate derived amount is irrelevant although it is unlikely that you will have reached this with a combination of contracting out and self employment.
Thanks. Pension forecast from Jan 2013 estimated SP of £108.16, based on 35 qualifying years worth £107.45 pw plus Additional SP/Graduated Retirement Benefit of £0.71 pw. There is a warning given below this that the actual amount could be lower than in the statement if I was contracted out at any time, which I was.0
