If currently in a DMP, can debts be included into it, in the future?

Including additional debts, into an 'already running' DMP which has been in place for months? - will they allow to include it, and alter the plan?

Payplan or Stepchange.

If a DMP was created months ago, with the income expenditure etc done, and 'certain' debts were Not included in the debt... as we wanted to manage these particular debts ourself...

and it is common for certain debts to be excluded form the plan by the customer... as they want to pay it off themselves
eg Electric bill
water bill,
a low amount credit card all left out of the plan

Then months after the plan has been running... can these above Blue debts be 'included' in the whole plan ? by contacting the DMP company (stepchange/payplan), and them modifying it?

-and, when I mean Debts included in the DMP... these included debts would have been old debts too... not just debts which have suddenly appeared... but old debts which the customer thought they would have sorted themselves.

- will they allow to include it, and alter the plan?, even if you include an additional amount of £ in the monthly payment?

I think you've really just got to ask them but I know with Stepchange that when starting out they expect you to include ALL your debts so each creditor is treated fairly. Also your budget is listed for everything so you know exactly how much cash there is for debt repayment. That said I can't see it being a huge problem to add it. Give them a call and see what they say.

Yes they will, a DMP is an unregulated means of repaying your debts, if another creditor appears, you can just add them to your DMP, a quick call to your provider will confirm this.
