Help to Buy for Buy to let - British national overseas

Hi All,
I am a british national living and working overseas. I am keen on taking advantage of the governments Help to Buy scheme (i would be a first time buyer). However i would aim to rent out the property until i return to the UK in a few years time.
Questions.
1. Is a British national living overseas able to use the Help to Buy scheme
2. Can the scheme be used for property that will be rented out?
3. Any recommendations on mortgage companies that offer Buy to Let mortgages for british nationals overseas....

You can't use Help To Buy with a BTL mortgage. You can only use HTB to purchase a property for you to live in.0

The Help to Buy website says: "the mortgage must be a residential mortgage not a buy-to-let mortgage, so you will be planning to live in your house and not rent it out"0

Which HTB scheme are we talking about, Equity Loan or Mortgage Guarantee?
Is the property a newbuild?
