Hi, Can anyone recommend a decent but reasonably priced kitchen fitter or joiner in the glenrothes area? I've got 4 base units, sink, oven, hob and 3 wall units and work top to be fitted, any idea of what I should be paying?

Thanks

Can certainly recommend one in Glenrothes. John Miller tel 01592 773153, think his business name is something like J Miller Joinery So far we've had him fit sliding wardrobe doors, complete kitchen refit with IKEA units, etc and he's now booked to fit wallboarding, cupboards, knock through new door, etc in our showerroom later this month. He works in association with a plumber and electrician so they can handle most things.

He came to us through personal recommendation and, in fact he doesn't have to advertise as all his work is through recommendations. We found him reliable, reasonably priced and very good workmanship. Only problem you'll find is getting a booking. He's usually booked up well ahead, although he fits in smaller jobs between the bigger ones.
  • I had a kitchen fitted by Stephen Middlemist (cupar) last year. He charged £700 for about 6 base units, 4 wall units, appliances and sink.

The kitchen was from IKEA and he had an absolute nightmare with it! Both the walls and the floor of the flat were completely wonky (one wall had a four inch difference from straight in a run of about 8 feet. He did an absolutely sterling job - you would never have known that the walls weren't perfect.

I'd recommend him to anyone (especially if you have wonky walls!).

Now.. the question is can I find his number? I'd imagine he's in the yellow pages anyway..found it ..
