Re mortgage and debt consolidation question

Hi. Would be grateful if someone could help me. We have 17 years left on our mortgage- owe £68,000 on mortgage- similar houses on our street going for circa 90k. We have never missed a payment on anything, but have 30k in loans and credit cards between us. (I know thats bad- but a combination of many factors over the years= mainly massive childcare bills that are now much reduced). We earn 27K each- so household income of 54k. Would love to try and remortgage and thus lower monthly outgoings. We do clear debts every month and circumstances that led to us always overspend are behind us. We are with the 'bad' part of NR- we initially had the 125% deal which accounts for a huge part of the unsecured debt, so can't get a new deal with them.
My question is- would anyone touch us to remortgage and consolidate the debt ? Am reluctant to go to bank if it means any requests would go on our credit history. Thanks in advance
