I have only started comping in the last fortnight so I would like to pick the brains of the more experienced on this site. My Facebook is getting inundated with postings from many sites whose competitions I have entered. I was wondering if I unfollowed these people would it then null and void any entries I have in the pipeline? I would also like to thank all the generous people who contribute to this site especially those who don't seem to go to bed!

IMO it's best to keep 'liking' a FB site until a comp is over - I sometimes keep a folder in my bookmarks and store comps for sites that I might want to 'unlike' once the end date has gone and a winner announced.

You can also just hide individual feeds on FB and that might help cut down on some of the posts.

Some newletter comps also state you have to remain subscribed as part of the terms. Again, the best thing to do is just bookmark those comps/end dates and unsubscribe at a later date.

My pleasure handbar! Hope you have lots of luck come your way :D

I also have loads of comp stuff in my FB feed, so I set up a twitter account purely to enter comps - many FB pages also have twitter sites and often comps run concurrently on both FB and Twitter (sometimes that's an 'either/or' entry thing, sometimes you can double up on entries ;)) but I often enter on Twitter just so I don't add more clutter to my FB feed or 'spam' my friends' feeds with my comp stuff! ;) :rotfl: HTH
