5000 due in stock on 1st May.

Good price for a 16ms response rate???

Good price I think, these were about £155 on Dell.co.uk a couple of weeks back.

I've got one of these and I'm loving it. No DVI if you're fussy about that, I'm not. It's brilliant through VGA.

I could be wrong, but this model might only have 16.2 million colours?

Also note the 1 year warranty instead of the 3 year warranty you'd get if bought from direct from Dell.

    Not bad price tho :)

Ah, good point about the warranty, don't know about the colours, 16.2 million colours sounds right to me! I think that's normal.

Aria have been doing this monitor for ages at around this price, but their price is without postage costs.
I'm tempted, as I've seen this monitor in action and its great.

    Thanks for the heads up.

£146.82 excluding postage on Aria. Their one has a 3 year warranty apparently.

eBuyers customer service is (marginally) better though :)

But if I was to choose, I'd go for the Aria one - assuming the eBuyer has a 1 year warranty.

I disagree. I've shopped with Aria a few times and Ebuyer dozens of times. Aria win hands down on customer service. I've had some problems with Ebuyer including a refund that didn't happen for over a year. I use Ebuyer more often as they are better for price and availability.
Thanks for pointing out the warranty. I was assuming the Ebuyer one has the same warranty, but I'll have to check.

I bought this monitor from aria and have had it 3 days now, very good with no dead pixels. 3 year warrenty, Carriage was £11.80 but it came next day and also bought a few cheap things (16 in 1 card reader for £3.85 etc.) to make up for the carriage costs. This monitor is much better than the Digimate monitor which I bought for work in December for much the same price, the Dell is a much better build quality, the Digimate is very plasticy.

I can recommend the Sharp LL-172A - not DVI (but hey), at £159 from Savastore or slightly more at eBuyer. Excellent picture and great build quality. Got mine yesterday to replace a medicore Acer model. No dead pixels either.

I finally settled for an LG 1720B, 16ms for £149.97 from Currys.

(which is a very good price - well, it is now, but probably won't be next week!)
