I ordered something the other day and got confirmation email and was told it would be available from this Friday.
I got an email to say it was now available but the item is now £19.99, not the £4.99 I ordered at. I understand that prices vary but wondered if it is likely that I would get it at the price on the day I ordered rather than the price it is for sale on the day I pick up. I suspect not but just wondered if anyone else has had this happen.
I don't want to bother if it is not at the sale price.

Reservations are "price when collected"Ex forum ambassador

Thanks.
My husband went in today to collect something and was charged the full price instead of the price he had ordered at. He went to customer service and they let him have it at the reduced price, so now I am even more confused.0 -
My local store tend to override the price if you mention you reserved it for less. I think I read somewhere that it is down to the staff on shift whether they honour those kinds of things though as they don't have to.0

In my experience Argos are usually very clear that the price to be paid is the price effective on the date purchased, not when reserved.0
