Keeping in Touch days are for keeping in touch with your employer, the one paying your SMP. Either she doesn't do any work for the business, in which case you shouldn't be paying her. Or she works for the business, in which case you should be paying her. It's all very simple really.
Or maybe you want her to do the work for nothing, and then pay her nothing but make it look like you're paying her to reduce your tax liability.
