Should employer pay for car service?
Comments

Another way to be deviously awkward is to put the car in for service. Obviously tell the employer you won't have use of it for a period - "so can you cancel my visits or provide a vehicle or pay for my train & taxis?". ..
Employer: "Doesn't your dealer provide a courtesy car?"
"Good grief, I can't afford a main dealer on what you pay me.."0 -

I remember reading about a guy recently who was a window cleaner and used his own car to collect money from a customer, and was done for not having business insurance on his policy.
My dad had his van impounded along with all the recovery fees, 3 or 6 points (I can't remember) a £300 fine and a court appearance for using his van to empty a shop with personal insurance policy but getting paid a nominal sum for it and the cost of setting up a new business insurance policy the police insisted he must have before they would release the van. He was down around £2k in one day for not being informed enough.♥ ♥ Happiness = Freedom ♥ Freedom = Happiness ♥♥0
