Hello,
Just a heads up about a call I had today.
It was from 002037578731 - assuming they got my number and address through comps!
They said they were from "UK County Hall" I think.
I was a bit baffled, they talk very quickly and are very forceful trying to get you to answer their questions.
I asked if I MUST answer their questions and they said yes - which is BS, no one needs to answer their questions at all.
He said he's going to set a timer for 1 minute and ask me some questions. I said no thank you and just hung up.
They sounded "official" on the phone and I assumed, at first, it was something to do with the benefits agency.
If they call you don't confirm your name or address, say they have the wrong number and just hang up.
