How is that a BOGOF ?
How is that not relevant to the OP's op? The latter part of the first sentence asks about multi-buys in general, not just two for one. (Or was that edited in later?)

For me I look at two things with BOGOF

Would I buy 1 at half the price ?
Do I have enough storage , or can I eat if before use buy

If I can answer yes to both of these then I will buy the BOGOF.

I stock up on non perishables when it is something I always use and it definitely doesn't make me waste food as we waste hardly anything. It definitely pays to know your prices well though.

Nothing, but it has everything to do with the second part of the question.

Again I repeat. I was only quoting the example given by "A Badger" - I was not refering back to the original question.

I don't generally get BOGOF'S unless it's something I need or buy anyway otherwise I end up wasting it. Plus you don't tend to get many BOGOF'S on value range.

  • If it's a good offer (in terms of value) and it's something that I will use then yes, of course. But you have to pick and choose the offers based on what you think you will use. We might buy muffins or a similar treat from the bakery section but don't buy them when it's offers like 2 for £2 because all that happens is we eat more than we should (and normally would) and we STILL have leftovers which end up getting thrown out. Same goes for bread - the 2 for £2 is no good cos we won't get through those two loaves quickly enough so I either buy one loaf or a different cheaper loaf.
