Playcaptcha

What a massive pain in the posterior this is! I didn't mind it to start with, nice gimmick, but it's the same three over and over (and the Finish 'bubbles' one takes the longest), but more often than not now, when I click "Submit" it says I've done it wrong anyway, and replaces it with the old text recaptcha thing.

Why bother having it if it doesn't work properly? Blooming :silenced:

Couldn't agree more. I can quite see why it's an attractive option for product advertisement someone really should make sure it's not going to irritate the hell out of people. That kind of thing does the brand no good at all!

I love the play captcha!! They are fun :) Pop bubbles, place things in baskets, click the red things.

More than I love writing "vegan zombie wants graaaaaains" anyway!

Well, absolutely! As I say, to start with I enjoyed it, even though I only ever get one of three (the Finish bubbles, Vanish powder, and Cillit Bang "rusty penny" {even though it's oxidised, not rusty.. pet peeve :p}).

The problems started to arise when it seemed to stop working 9/10 times. I'd do the Playcaptcha, and it'd then tell me it was unsuccessful and pop up the old Recaptcha that I have to fill in as well.

So what happens these days, is the Playcaptcha is a captcha, to get to the captcha! It's really frustrating and slows me down a lot.

Just to add, going by comments in ITV comp threads, I'm not the only one this happens to more often than not as well. Boooo.

The only time I have trouble is if they don't complete the full animation before I click submit.

It would help if they actually worked. Always get an error and then have to do a typed one anyway.

I thought that to start with, but I tend to get errors even more often if I leave it for the animation to finish. Clicking it as soon as I finish the action required lets me proceed 10% of the time, which is a miracle.

I've been having these animated ones and the vanish one seems to go through fine, but I've had problems with the finish one, it always tells me I haven't done it correctly, so it gives me a text one instead!
