DMP and F&F settlement

Hypothetical question as I am not in any position to do this at the moment, but if I were to have a lump sum to put forward for full and final offers, do I have to do this through my DMP provider or can I approach the companies myself? If the latter is acceptable and my offers are accepted, would I just have to contact my DMP provider and let them know?

Thanks.

  • I am about to approach my creditors myself with a letter from the national debt line website, but I will also be updating my budget and letting stepchange know my plans at the same time. L2B.x
